About this Session:

Learn what it takes to become an OSHA VPP Special Government Employee (SGE).  Hear about the program requirements and roles that SGEs can assist with beyond VPP on-site evaluations.  SGE qualifications, application process, training requirements, and SGE responsibilities will be discussed.  Join us to hear about the benefits of this unique program!

About the Presenter:

Whitney Hymes joined OSHA in 2014 as a Presidential Management Fellow (PMF). She now serves as a Program Analyst and the Special Government Employee (SGE) Coordinator for the Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP). Prior to working at OSHA, Whitney was a Biological Sciences Laboratory Technician for the United States Department of Agriculture, where she was responsible for laboratory experiments that detected plant viruses and diseases. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Maryland, College Park and a Master of Science degree in Management from University of Maryland University College.
